Privacy on sheuli.com.
Last updated 29 October 2026
This page is about sheuli.com, the marketing site. Sheuli itself isn’t available yet, so nothing here is about the apps you’ll connect to it. Our promise about those still stands: Sheuli will never sell that data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI.
Who runs this site.
sheuli.com is run by Aleks Cheifetz, trading as Sheuli, in Sydney, Australia. For any enquiries about your privacy, email [email protected].
What happens when you join.
When you join the waitlist, we keep:
- your email address
- your referral code, which is worked out from your email address
- the referral code of whoever referred you, if you joined through their link, so we can move you both up the list
These are kept by Brevo, the service that sends our waitlist emails. Brevo emails you a confirmation link straight away, and you’re only added to the waitlist once you click it. Brevo also records when our emails are opened and when links in them are clicked.
We also count signups. Each time the form is sent, we note the time and what happened (for example, “confirmation sent”). That count doesn’t include your email address or anything else about you.
To stop the form being used to send someone lots of emails, we send the same address at most one confirmation email every 10 minutes, and three a day. To do that, we keep a hashed code made from your email address, with the time each confirmation email was sent. The code can’t be turned back into your address, and we delete it after 24 hours.
If you don’t click the confirmation link, we may send you one reminder, usually about a day later, with a new link. We send at most one reminder in any 30 days, never within a day of a confirmation email, and never to an address our emails couldn’t reach. To decide, we check Brevo’s record of whether your confirmation email arrived, whether you clicked it and whether you’ve since joined, and the hashed code above. To send it, we keep the same kind of hashed code:
- if you joined through someone’s link, with their referral code, so the reminder still moves you both up the list. We delete it after 4 days.
- with the time we sent you a reminder, so you don’t get a second one within 30 days. We delete it after 30 days.
What happens when you visit.
Cloudflare hosts sheuli.com. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and browser details to show you the pages. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies.
We don’t use cookies for analytics or advertising, so there’s no cookie banner.
If you came from Facebook or Instagram.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To see which ads lead to signups, we tell Meta (the company behind them) about some signups. There’s no Meta code on this site. The message goes from our server to Meta’s.
When you follow a link on Facebook, Instagram or another Meta app (or a link copied from one), Meta usually adds a click ID to it. If you arrive on sheuli.com with that click ID, and you join the waitlist on that visit, and you’re in Australia, New Zealand, the US or Canada, we tell Meta a signup happened. This happens when you send the form, even before you confirm your email. We send:
- Meta’s click ID
- your IP address
- your browser’s user agent (the browser and device details it shares with every site you visit)
- a random ID for the signup, so Meta doesn’t count it twice
We never send your email address, in any form. We work out which country you’re in from your IP address. If you’re somewhere else, or you arrived without a click ID, nothing is sent. Nothing is stored on your device for this, and we don’t keep a copy of what we send.
Meta uses this to tell us which ads led to signups and to decide who sees our ads. It handles the information under its own privacy policy, which also explains your ad settings on Facebook and Instagram.
Where it’s kept.
Brevo, Cloudflare and Meta may store and handle this information outside Australia.
Your choices.
- Leave the waitlist: use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or email us.
- See or delete your details: email [email protected], and we’ll tell you what we hold or delete your email address and referral details from Brevo.
- What Meta holds: we don’t keep a copy of what we send Meta, so we can’t look it up or delete it for you. Meta’s privacy policy explains how to ask Meta directly.
Changes.
If any of this changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
